I love this show♥ I'm actually alright with how it ended. The whole show was about the changes in life, acceptance, and learning about love. It's apparent that the cast was finally able to accept changes in the last episode. The change that they resisted the whole time was now their way of life, and they seem pretty content with it. They also learned that it's not wrong to love, even if it hurts. It would be a plus if the potential couples became an actual couple, but it's not really neccessary to make a happy ending.

    Spoiler below :O

If you're confused about the sea god, I think he realized that he took away Ojoshi's feelings for him towards the end, which is the tragic part of the show. He kept someone else's strong feelings of love (ie. manaka and muina's love for hikari) to just fill the void he felt over the loss of Ojoshi. Once the sea god realized that she actually did loved him through her "melted feelings in the sea", the raging sea that is linked to his feelings has finally settled down, and then it calmly started moving again to signify that he has accepted the truth.
