    There's currently an option in the Autohack to completely turn off random encounters. Is the opposite possible? Because there's a seasonal event happening in the game where event items drop off mobs 100% of the time in addition to the regular random drops. Sometimes I just stop encountering enemies and it's very frustrating. Can you boost the encounter rate so we encounter an enemy every step we take?

    It might not be possible because the random encounter might be server sided but I could try it.

    I would be most grateful if you would try. :-) Apparently there's more than one special event where this would be useful. Would also be useful for completing quests where you need to kill a certain number of specific enemy. Lastly it would help users reach a dungeons experience cap, which I've never done because the encounters slow to a trickle.

    Interesting, Chippou. I wondered about that. It doesn't seem to be the same number every time, though. But if what you say is true if would explain why encounters suddenly stop. So it should be possible to prompt all the encounters immediately, saving a huge amount of time wandering around. I hope this can be implemented soon before the current event cycle ends. That plus a mod to lock Auto battle so it's always on in encounters between fights would make my week.

    Maybe a bit late but just saw this post, ppl on forums says monster encouter stops when you reached a certain amount of exp to prevent mass farming, some areas will have a fixed amount of gil/encounter/exp so you can know the amount of exp you got before the rng encounter stop.
    reddit and the wiki had the numbers

    Its the server that triggers the random encounters. If the server says "no more encounters left", you can't just force it to produce more.

    1. The trigger of monster spawn randomly set after you enter Exploration (NRG deduct)

    2. And those random no. like 5-xx steps after enter spawning zone follow by A steps for first encounter B steps after first encounter, C steps and so on.

    3. Not only monster set but this include item Drop and Item from Pickup Spot.

    4. Therefore the server will load everything just once and there u go can play offline till end of map.

    *. And that's how server control (limit) everything you get per exploration, no matter how much gil / exp / items u gain, at the end of the map it will cross check with the number that already generate on server side.

    **. I'm still not sure how Unlimited Battle Items Mod work anyway.

    what we need is to make 100% encounter rate, so every time we walk , we will encounter the random encounter to the max ( max 20x i think) and then we can proceed to the boss instead of wasting time to look for random encounter.

    Since this Mod is quite basic and not game breaking at all so I have a few suggestions.

    First search for integer value may be 10-100, next every steps you walk it should be lower by 1 till zero when encounter occurred.
    If this is the right method, fix value to 1 or zero and every step will start encounter immediately

    On the other way around walk a few step then search for value of those steps.
    If this is the right method, set value to max number so game will assume you walk enough steps for encounter.

    (This is the basic function for RPG game.)

    Random battles canNOT be modded, I've already done it.

    When you finish the Exploration you get stuck in a almost infinite Server Error loop that is a pain to correct

    "Number of Encounters" mean you can fight more than normal encounter limitation per Exploration.
    For example, Earth Shrine Exploration has total of 14 Encounter Times, by increase or lock this number to 14, you can fight more than normal state.

    While

    "Max Encounter Rate" mean you Easily find monster and don't waste time searching them. After fight last group of monster, there will be no more encounter
    Same example, Earth Shrine Exploration has total of 14 Encounter Times, increase encounter rate mean you found all 14 easily instead of keep walking for 10min. after all 14 found, then there should be no more Encounter.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    there are equip that can be stacked to reduce up to 50% encounter (for now)
